Schützen Gas Detection Tubes
Our 5mm gas detector tube are designed for use with a compatible sample draw pump, offers a simple, rapid, and reliable method for on-the-spot detection and measurement of gases and vapors in the air.
These detector tubes are especially useful for field applications where immediate results are required. By drawing an air sample through the tube using the pump, the presence and concentration of specific gases can be determined based on a visible color change along a calibrated scale inside the tube.

Schützen Gas Detection Pumps
Schützen Detector Tubes provide a highly economical and reliable method for detecting most gases. These colorimetric detector tubes use a simple manual sampling pump to draw in air, with gas concentrations indicated by a clear color change on the tube scale.
The ZG-1 vacuum manual sample pump uses the negative pressure generated in the piston cylinder to draw the measured gas into the piston cylinder through the gas detection tube. When the measured gas passes through the gas detection tube, it reacts with the indicator in the detection tube to produce a color change, and the concentration of the measured gas is obtained through the color change.
