LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY

1. General Warranty Terms
Our products are inspected and handled with care to ensure they are in good condition before being released for delivery or collection. We provide a limited warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from us and does not cover damage, defects, or performance issues arising from improper use, mishandling, unauthorized modification, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
2. Product-Specific Warranty Coverage
2.1 Electronic Gas Detectors
Electronic gas detectors are warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for [1 to 2 years] from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified.
The warranty covers defects arising under normal operating conditions and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
The warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by misuse, negligence, accidents, improper installation, or operation outside the specified operating conditions.
Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, modifications, or tampering.
Normal wear and tear or consumable components, including sensors, batteries, filters, and other parts subject to periodic replacement, unless otherwise specified.
Damage caused by exposure to unsuitable gases, excessive gas concentrations, moisture, corrosive substances, extreme temperatures, or other environmental conditions outside the manufacturer’s specifications.
Failure to perform routine maintenance, calibration, or servicing as recommended by the manufacturer.
2.2 Calibration Gas and Accessories
Calibration Gas Cylinders
Calibration gas cylinders are inspected and confirmed to be in good condition before being released for delivery or collection.
Customers are advised to check the gas pressure immediately upon receipt and report any suspected issues promptly.
The warranty for calibration gas is subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions and the stated shelf life or expiry date, where applicable.
The warranty does not cover:
Gas leakage resulting from a regulator, valve, or connection that is not properly tightened or has been improperly installed or handled.
Gas loss caused by leaving the valve open, accidental discharge, improper storage, or misuse.
Gas deterioration resulting from storage outside the manufacturer’s recommended conditions.
Claims reported after a prolonged period where the original condition of the cylinder or the cause of gas loss can no longer be reasonably verified.
Any warranty claim involving suspected defective gas cylinders will be subject to inspection and, where necessary, assessment by the manufacturer. A replacement or warranty claim will be considered based on the findings and applicable warranty terms.
Calibration Gas Accessories
Calibration gas accessories are warranted against manufacturing defects for [1 to 2 years] from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified.
The warranty excludes normal wear and tear, consumable parts, damage caused by improper installation or handling, unauthorized modifications, and damage resulting from use outside the manufacturer’s specifications.
2.3 Gas Detector Tubes
Gas detector tubes are inspected and confirmed to be in good condition, with no visible damage, before being released for delivery or collection.
As gas detector tubes are made of glass and are highly fragile, customers are strongly advised to inspect them immediately upon receipt and report any visible damage promptly.
The warranty does not cover:
Broken, cracked, or damaged tubes resulting from handling, loading, unloading, or transportation.
Damage caused by the customer’s appointed transporter or other third parties after the goods have been released for collection or delivery.
Damage caused by improper storage, handling, or use.
Tubes that have expired, been improperly stored, or been used contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Customers are encouraged to arrange their own insurance coverage against transportation damage, particularly when using their appointed transporter.
Any claim relating to manufacturing defects or product performance will be assessed in accordance with the manufacturer’s applicable warranty terms.
3. Warranty Territory
This limited warranty is valid only for products purchased from us and used within Singapore. Warranty claims, repairs, and replacements are limited to Singapore. Products located outside Singapore are not covered under this warranty, unless otherwise agreed by us in writing.
4. Warranty Claim Procedure
To submit a warranty claim, customers must:
Notify us promptly after discovering the suspected defect.
Provide proof of purchase, including the invoice number and purchase date.
Provide the product model, serial number or lot number, where applicable.
Provide a clear description of the issue and supporting photographs, videos, or other evidence where available.
Make the product available for inspection or testing when requested.
We reserve the right to inspect the product and consult the manufacturer before determining whether a warranty claim is valid.
Products must not be returned without prior authorization. Customers may be responsible for transportation, inspection, or other associated costs where the claim is not covered by the warranty.
5. Warranty Remedy
If a claim is accepted, our remedy will be limited, at our discretion and subject to applicable law, to one of the following:
Repair of the defective product.
Replacement with the same or an equivalent product.
Other remedies agreed upon by both parties.
The warranty does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund or replacement without an assessment of the claim.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from product defects or failures, including loss of business, loss of profits, downtime, or costs associated with equipment damage.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
7. General Conditions
This limited warranty is subject to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty terms, where relevant.
Warranty coverage may vary by product model, component, manufacturer, or product category.
We reserve the right to request further information or conduct additional testing before approving a claim.
Any exception to this policy must be confirmed by us in writing.
This policy is governed by the laws of [Singapore], subject to any mandatory legal requirements.
