Teledyne Acquires DD-Scientific
We are pleased to announce that Teledyne Technologies Incorporated has officially acquired DD-Scientific Limited, a leading developer and manufacturer of high-performance electrochemical gas sensors.
Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Fareham, United Kingdom, DD-Scientific is recognized for its advanced gas sensing technologies used across industrial safety, healthcare, environmental monitoring, and emissions compliance applications.
The acquisition strengthens Teledyne’s growing portfolio of sensing and instrumentation technologies, adding complementary capabilities including lead-free electrochemical gas sensors for industries such as power generation, petrochemical processing, semiconductor manufacturing, and medical systems.
According to Teledyne, DD-Scientific will continue operating as a separate business unit within Teledyne’s Instrumentation Segment, with the existing management team remaining in place to support continuity for customers and partners.
This milestone represents an exciting new chapter for both organizations and reinforces a shared commitment to innovation, quality, and long-term customer support.
